Coffee shop: made the best hot chocolate and a good coffee. Halls and room had a smell today either from the casino or folks coming through.
Shower head is high up so if you are short it’s hard to reach. Window won’t open but they did come up and fix but stopped working again. Not all the tv stations worked and tv is a weird angle from the bed. THere is an electric fireplace but it blocks the view of the ocean from the bed. Came with small frig, microwave, safe, leather couch, two chairs with a table and keurig machine. Just got the impression that front desk doesn’t want to go out of their way to be helpful. Check in: was ok but we tried to move to a room on a higher floor but were told rooms weren’t available even though we saw people check in later to higher floors. However in system it was keyed as “winter special.” Front desk changed reservation only after we went back and forth bur finally match booking but said robes are only available for purchase (so if true don’t advertise otherwise). Booking: booked online for a king ocean view room with 2 free coffee and pastries and that the room came with 2 robes. Overall it is convenient to stay for gambling but otherwise we weren’t impressed. We haven’t been here since the remodel and decided to check it out.
